Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, committed parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The whole family is actively involved in the LoveWorld ministry. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome His brother Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by CSO, has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the Word of God the world. She is a talented gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded the scholarship of Bendel State University to study architecture. He holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.

While in the university, the Man of God started what would later become the largest congregation worldwide. It began as a small group of prayer called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would later become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers worldwide.

The LoveWorld ministry was launched under the direction of Pastor Chris. It's a leader in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24 hours a day, continuously on free-to air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representation across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year which allow miraculous events to occur.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral part in worship. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these performers have had successful solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that focuses on sustaining the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. It's designed to develop and recognizing young leaders, and training them to be successful in the coming years.
