Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. God's grace was passed on to her son early.

The whole family is actively involved in the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of top gospel artists in the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by the name of CSO she has chosen to follow the footsteps of her father by sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to enter into the ministry and become a servant to the Lord.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of the worship. COFI has five partners who have a common goal of raising the standard of living in the most underdeveloped areas.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM), the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the health and lives of those in greatest need.

The charity also provides food for children in need.
