You may be concerned about the risks associated with RF EMF, but there are ways to protect yourself. Wearing clothing made of EMR shielding fabrics will shield you from the damaging radiation. These fabrics typically consist of a silver-colored fabric embedded in a fine mesh. When the radiation from wireless signals like a cell phone or WI-FI signal strike this material, they cause the electrons inside it to eddy or echo within the material. One such textile, called the Wavestopper(tm) fabric is proven to block 99% of harmful radiofrequency radiation.
RF EMF can cause heat to organic matter
RF EMF is an effective source of energy that has the ability to increase the temperature of organic matter. It accomplishes this by changing the polarization of water molecules. This heat can cause superficial and deep burns, cataracts, and general hyperthermia. While these effects may not be as apparent as typical EHS symptoms however, they can be serious. Luckily, the levels of exposure needed to cause these effects are small compared to the negative effects of exposure to EMF.
An RF antenna that measured 25 feet long was placed in 620 feet deep. During the course of 40 hours, RF heat the temperature within the borehole went up by 220 F. This study highlighted RF heating as a potentially beneficial method for heating formation. In a later study, Bottazzi et al. (2013) analyzed the utility of electric heating in the downhole conditions.
Both of these methods can be utilized to heat organic matter. The first method involves placing the material within a high-frequency electromagnetic field. A second approach involves placing the object in the electromagnetic field that is an inductor. The electromagnetic field causes electric currents within the object, and this causes heat to rise in the object. How much heat is that is generated depends on the resistance of the material to the flow of the currents and the length of exposure.
Although the biological effects of RF EMFs aren't conclusive, research has revealed an association between exposure to EMF from RF sources and EHS symptoms. This relationship requires further study to discover the extent to which EMF exposure can cause EHS. For instance, it has been proven that childhood leukemia can be linked with residential proximity to electric lines.
RF EMR is made up of two parts namely electric and magnetic. These two components combine to produce an electromagnetic field that has various degrees of strength. The intensity of the field can be measured using specific units. For instance, the electrical field strength is measured as the volts per square meter. Magnetic field strength is measured in milliwatts per square centimeter and the total electromagnetic field strength is measured as power density.
The non-ionizing version of EMF has a lower frequency, so it's not able to cause chemical bond breakage. However Ionizing radiation is able to cause chemical bonds to break and cause oxidative damage to the body. In addition, it can cause skin cancers and changes in some people. Consequently, high levels of exposure could cause chronic health issues.
http://www.proteckd.com that shows the possibility that exposure RF EMF may cause EHS is limited. Nevertheless, there are numerous other studies that show this connection between RF EMF and oxidative stress. Although it's unclear what time EMF exposure could cause cell damage, it is important to understand what is happening within the body to prevent this type of problem. EMF exposure can even impact organ function.
The effect of heat generated by EMF from RF is caused by the polarity of the substances. If the RF energy flows through a polar compound that has atomic nuclei, electrons within the nuclei get moved away from their equilibrium positions. In the process, the electrons around the nuclei become dipoles inducing. This dipole realignment occurs trillions of times a second. As a result there is friction created between the rotating molecules, and heat is generated throughout the material.
While RF radiation isn't thought to directly harm DNA, it may create heat within body tissues, which could lead to burning or damage to tissue. Unlike ionizing radiation, RF radiation is not believed to cause cancer. However, studies have revealed an increase in tumors in laboratory animal models exposed to RF radiation.
There are many federal agencies that are involved in managing and monitoring the impacts on the body of RF radiation on human bodies. They include those of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. They monitor RF exposure to ensure that it is safe for employees. They also encourage employees to limit their exposure to radiation if they are working in high-frequency RF environments.
