If you choose to be sneaky the Warden will not notice you as long as you remain still and don't make any sound. Throwing snowballs can help keep the Warden from being distracted enough to allow him to pass.



If you make too much noise, come too close, or yell at an Warden it will get more agitated and begin to chase you. There are three options: run away, fight it, or throw it off its trail.



A Warden can outrun a player running at full speed If you're planning to run it, ensure that you have a clear route to the outside and sufficient endurance to make it there in time. A word of caution that hazards such as water won't hinder it and it's not susceptible to knockback and damage from both lava and fire.
