Mojang's Minecraft has now reached 8 million combined sales on Xbox 360, the game's retail release clearly building on the XBLA version's success. Let's look at this week's UK charts, where the Xbox 360 Edition is the fourth game of the year to be Numero Uno for three weeks straight; the other three are The Last of Us, Dead Island: Riptide, and BioShock Infinite.

This feat is happening as the Xbox 360 version prepares to release Title Update 12. The full changelog can be found on PlayXBLA. The PC version features Ocelots that can make creepers go running and also the biomes of the jungle where they appear.
Silly season is very nearly over however, it's not yet time to retreat behind the bushes and watch the chaos unfold. It's another slow week in the UK Charts office. To find out you have to watch FIFA 13 and The Smurfs 2 in second and third respectively.
Despite all the silence, Tales of Xillia makes a positive debut. Namco's JRPG takes off to the heights of fourth spot, a bit of a surprise considering the series' previous record in the UK and, to put it in perspective with the previous year, Tales of Graces F debuted in 14th.
