Avanos Medical, FDA and FDA and FDA have issued a Class 1 Recall for approximately 629 units of CORTRAK*2's Ental Access System. Avanos Mediacal Cortrak 2 This feeding tube device has been associated with numerous deaths and injuries.
These devices were introduced between April 1st, 2016 between January 1st, 2022 and April 1, 2016. Cortrak 2 eternal access system The devices are used by healthcare professionals to place feeding tubes into stomachs or in the intestines.
Incorrect placement of nasogastric as well as Nasoenteric tubes has been the source of more than 60 injuries and 23 deaths since the year 2015.
