Bayrock Group's Journey: from the Suburbs up to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

The Tevfik Arif-driven real estate development firm for luxury, Bayrock Group, quickly after its founding, began working with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves from Suburbs to Manhattan

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization began to work together in New York City's residential real property market.

To boost the project on Spring Street, the founder Tevfik Arif came up with an arrangement that would bring an additional brand name and prestige to the project.

According to his sources, Trump Organization would obtain 18% equity for the building in return of using the Trump logo on the building's title.

The agreement was accepted by all three firms. In 2006, Trump SoHo's first brick was laid.

Two years after that, Bayrock Group was founded by the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization. They launched Trump SoHo in New York City.

Trump SoHo had 46 stories that included elite restaurants, bars, halls for events and banquet halls, as well as an open-air swimming pool and spa Apartments and hotel rooms.
