WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to share a truth many MMO players don’t yet know: All DPS players can be categorized as sharks. You might be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even an instant means they'll end up dying. They have to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to sharks around the world. Don't ask a shark how they are able to type or play the game. Just know that the rogue who does not wait for the tank or the healer or other DPS will do what they do. 1so Blog He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff members could be a shark, however I'm unable to confirm or claim that. Perhaps he or she reveals his or his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP or it's just our usual roundup of our weekend plans like we do every week. You won't find out until you've read the next section. However you can let us know by letting us know what you're up to.

@Beau_Hindman I'm definitely going to play more State of Decay. It's a fantastic single-player game that is easily one of my favorite games. For MMORPGs I'm testing the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch of DC Universe Online, and I'll also be taking part in some action in Neverwinter which I think is one of the best-looking and sounding MMOs available right now.

@nbrianna: I returned to World of Warcraft with a group of guildies. I'll be leveling some old toons and exploring some Pandaria dungeons that I've never played. Should be enjoyable!

@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice in my side slot, and although there are a lot of elements in there that I'm still not thrilled with, I am enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's bound to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to do and various endgame shenanigans to get involved in, so that'll be my main focus.

@Sypster: I don't think I have any grand plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to play additional scenarios in The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the kids love these days.

@mvmatt: My weekend plans include soup, schoolwork and, If I'm lucky, some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I stopped playing it (and reflect on the things that almost made me stay) before the servers close in the coming month. Apart from that I'd love to get some time in with Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World which are both games which I've been neglecting for a while. Perhaps, just maybe, I could stop some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster: This weekend I'm checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be returning to World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has made me all excited.

@MJ_Guthrie: I'm planning to concentrate most of my gaming time (and I will have some whatever it is!) trying to accomplish more in the fight against Filth in The Secret World. I would love that pet and the bee suit for sure and even though I don't think there is any way in the world I'll get enough tokens, I am still determined to try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not working I'll be playing in a few scenarios and trying out new builds. I will also be spending the weekend trying various races to become my new Channeler in EverQuest II. I have it narrowed down to Ratonga and Kerra. Once I get that, I'll only require about 30 additional hours to modify the look. Oh wait, then there's the whole name thing...

@RichieProcopio - This weekend, I'll be intoxicated. No I'm not attending the frat party, but I'll be paying the tower of dreams an appearance in Guild Wars 2 and see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!

At the beginning of every weekend, we meet with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known by: WRUP!) Join us to discover what we're doing both in and out of games -- and be sure to join us in the comments to tell us what you're playing!
