He is the son of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 a day, on free-to air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. Two Healing Schools are located in South Africa and Canada. There Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year that allow the manifestation of miracles.

Under the auspices COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the health, life, and spirits of those most in need.

The charity also provides food for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid foundations of community are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This promotes accountability leadership and good governance.
