Your added email login works as the username to the Steam account you previously did not link (plus the pw). When you open your OSRS client, you can click "Log-in using an existing account". You'll be redirected to Jagex's website once you press the Continue button. runescape You can then input your email/login information and password. This will link you again to Steam.
Do not click "Create a new account via Steam" in the sense that you'll be linking and creating a new Steam-created one. If you do make a mistake and you create a new account, you will have to follow exactly the same thing as before adding an email login, add a password to the RS account, and then unlink it from your Steam account.
Tip: An email login/username doesn't have to be real at this point, you just need the format ([email protected]) Afterwards, adding email verification to your account needs a real email.
If you want to log in via RL or mobile, use the email/log in username and pw of the RS account.

Yes, but when I went to the screen to unlink it wouldn't let me sign up for an email, i also read that when you attempt to unlink, it will display an error if you don't have an email, so i unlinked it and now my steam email account will not work to sign into osrs at any time, so I'm stuck. ive tried signing in with the username or email but it won't work.
Jagex is experiencing issues server-side, so you can't access the un-link screen or log into the game. You will need to wait for more information before you are able to access the un-link screen.
