He wasn't sure he wanted to study law, but he continued his studies and graduated with an advanced degree in New York. After that the law firm, he was employed by the international law firm. He realized that he had a passion more for business than he did law while working for an Wall Street law firm. He quit his job and went to France to study for an MBA.
In 1996, after graduating, Beracha started working for the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is the largest Israeli venture capital investment fund. Pitango is focused on startups that are that are developing the core areas of high-tech, has received over 200 investment from its investors and exited over 85 companies to date. Rami became managing partner in the year 2000, and over the next 18 years lead numerous deals that resulted in with successful exits for fortune 500 giants such as Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.
