Rami Beracha believes that there are many investment opportunities, even in the Coronavirus Economy.

If you are deciding on a goal to pursue, you should make sure you take your time. One of the most important stages of success in any venture is to make sure that it's the best choice for you. You must believe in the possibility of it succeeding and be passionate about the idea. The most important thing is your faith in the concept. Don't be afraid of making adjustments once you've started your journey. It is better to make adjustments and fix things in the early stages of your project, rather before you've invested more money.

Rami Beracha’s advice to students at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based on his own experience. Rami started his legal studies when he was just a teenager. He was not sure if he chose the right option, but he continued his legal education and earned a Master's Degree in New York, then worked at an international law firm. In the course of his work in the Wall Street law firm, the lawyer realized that he loved business more than law. He quit his job and relocated to France to study for an MBA.

In 1996, after graduating, Beracha joined the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is the biggest Israeli venture capital investment fund. Pitango has a relationship with companies at the early stages of their growth, and focuses on the most important sectors within high-tech. Pitango has invested over 200 times and made 85 exits. Rami became managing partner in 2000 and for the next 18 years lead dozens of deals resulting with successful exits for Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

It didn't end there. Globes gave Beracha the award in 2011 as an "Esteemed Partner” award. The award recognized him as an influential investor. In 2014, Rami established a new company named Sosa. Sosa is home to the innovation centers in New York (and Tel Aviv) where they work with global entrepreneurs and support innovative high tech companies. Sosa was recently selected to construct and manage New York City's cyber center.

Rami Beracha believes, despite the fact that the past couple of years with the coronavirus epidemic have been hard economically, there are still new opportunities. He recommends searching for new businesses that have an enormous digital disruption. This might be "Covid Long".
Beracha also has a few new projects. A group of business partners and Beracha have recently established the London-based venture capital fund. Beracha is able and willing to expand the market following his role in the transformation of Israel into a world-class high-tech center. Beracha has stated that the fund's creation is aligned with his business outlook. They are looking for enthusiastic businesses and help blockchain in its quest for a place at the forefront in the field of innovative ideas.
In addition to the European fund, Beracha has plans for another Middle Eastern venture capital fund. He believes that now is the ideal time to invest on the Arab market, after the agreement of the Abraham Accords by Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a thriving and highly modern place to start. Ender Ventures is his new fund. He plans to use Israeli ad European Investors for support to high-tech UAE businesses in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality. The United Arab Emirates offers a unique perspective on business. The tax rates are low and the business-friendly laws are sure to make it a magnet for many businesses in the coming years.

Even though Rami Beracha appears to have been successful in every project he has set his mind on, his path was not an easy one. Like many Israelis, Beracha joined the army at the age of a young. He became a combat soldier with the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team that went out to aid soldiers wounded in minefields. This happened shortly after the war was over. Rami fell on the mines and fellto the ground, loosing his foot as well as his hand.

He was admitted to the hospital for rehabilitation, and it was one of the most stressful times of his life. He was unable and unwilling to move, and eventually was stricken with depression and despair. His hopes of establishing his army career seemed lost to him. He did not even know who he was. The suffering of Rami helped him find the passion and drive to keep living and dream up new ones. He set out to become more powerful and stronger than before the injuries. Rami was determined to test different extreme sports. He is now a fan of kitesurfing, snowboarding and has been on the mountain of Mount Kilimanjaro. As he continues to better himself, he is often feeling as if his old self who was never wounded is forcing him to go further.

Rami donates to and volunteers in many organisations and is dedicated to helping young soldiers like him, get injured in combat. Rami took a group wounded soldiers to Nepal in the year 2016 where was given the rank of major. He was elevated to the rank of major within both the Israeli paratrooper ranks and the fire brigades. Childhood dreams came through despite the hardships. His passion and story is a real source of inspiration to others. Rami didn't let his injuries stop him from exploring new ideas and he became stronger each day.
