Rami Beracha believes there are many investment opportunities even in the Coronavirus economy

Make sure you take your time choosing the dream you wish to pursue. The first step to ensuring success with a new venture is to be sure it's right for you. You must believe in the chance of it succeeding and be passionate about the concept. The most important thing is your faith in the idea. When you've begun your journey, you should not be afraid to adjust your plans when you get there. Better to change and fix things during the early stages rather than later on after spending more time and money.

Rami Beracha shares his personal experiences with students at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Rami is a young man who was adamant about attending law school. Though he wasn't sure whether it was the best option for him, he decided to study law and got an MA in New York. He then was employed overseas in a law office. His experience in the Wall Street legal firm made him realize that business was his real passion. Therefore, he decided to leave his job and moved to France to pursue an MBA.

Following her graduation in 1996, Beracha began working at the Venture Capital Fund Pitango, the biggest venture capital investment fund in Israel. Pitango is focused on companies that are in their initial stages developing key areas of high-tech. It has made more than 200 investments and 85 exits to date. Rami was appointed managing partner in the year 2000. Over the next 18-years Rami negotiated dozens of deals which resulted in profitable exits from large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.

He didn’t stop there. Globes presented Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognising his role as an influential investor. In 2014 Rami created a new venture known as Sosa. Sosa runs innovation centers in New York City and Tel Aviv which provide assistance to high-tech companies looking for partners with international entrepreneurs interested in working with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently appointed to oversee the construction and operation of the city's cyber center.

Beracha is working on a few new projects. He recently co-founded London's venture capital firm that is based on blockchain, along with a business group. Beracha is well-equipped and ready to assist in expanding the market following his role in Israel's transformation into a world-class high-tech center. Beracha's outlook on business is reflected in the new fund. The fund claims that they "know technology, but we only invest in people who are driven by a mission." They aim to identify passionate companies and help blockchain find its right spot at the top of innovative concepts pushing the world forward.
Beracha plans to start a Middle Eastern venture capital funds. Beracha believes this is the best moment to invest in Arab markets, particularly following the recent announcement of the Abraham Accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is an ideal place to start, as it is rich and modern. The fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will unite Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics. The United Arab Emirates' business prospects are unrivaled. The low tax rate and the business-friendly laws will make it an attractive destination for numerous businesses in the coming decades.

While Rami Beracha seems to be accomplished in everything he has done, it wasn't always effortless. Beracha was a soldier as an untrained young man, like most Israelis. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade combat soldier and was a participant in the Lebanon War. Rami, who was a member of a rescue mission to help wounded soldiers in a dangerous minefield and joined the Paratrooper's Army in 1983 , shortly after the war. Rami was unfortunate enough to step on mines and fell, losing his foot and his hand.

He went through one of the most challenging moments of his life and hospitalization was the final result of that. He was unable to walk and began to feel depressed and despairing. The dream of becoming an officer in the army did not materialize and he lost his sense of his self. The suffering of Rami helped him find the passion and drive to keep living and make new dreams. He decided to become even better and even stronger than before the injuries. Rami decided to take on extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing, snowboarding, and has even completed a hike on Mount Kilimanjaro. He often feels his unrestrained previous life pushing him to his limits and challenging him.

He is a volunteer for numerous organizations and makes donations. He is committed to helping young men, who were wounded in combat. In 2016, Rami was part of the group of men who sustained injuries while on army service during a visit to Nepal. In the year 2018, he was promoted to major in Israeli army's fire and paratrooper brigades. His childhood dreams had come to fruition, despite the challenges. His story and his passion can be a source of inspiration for all who see them. Rami did not let her injuries hinder her. He continued to try new methods, learning and growing until he was more resilient than before.
