All the Minecraft Cheats and Commands you'll ever Need

Minecraft cheats are used via commands, code inputs that go into the console and allow you to alter features and elements of your game, like the ability to teleport, making items, and more. This can only be done in the PC version. Minecraft cheats are properly implemented. MINECRAFT ONLINE Users of the PlayStation, Xbox, Switch or Mobile versions of Minecraft won't be allowed to cheat however for PC users we can show you how to take complete control and utilize Minecraft cheats and commands to your heart's content, as well as an extensive list of commands to work from.



How to use Minecraft commands



You can use cheats in Minecraft by using Java Edition or Bedrock Edition.



Open Minecraft singleplayer Create a new world


Go to Game Settings


Click on "Allow Cheats" so that it's toggled off


Generate and join the world

If you've started playing a game and wish to allow cheating, you can do this via the Game Settings menu by hitting ESC and tweaking it there. However, you'll have to be the creator and owner of the world you're in. Visitors to your world can't edit it or change elements because it's not their domain to alter it.



Instead of typing individual player names into the prompt instead, you can utilize these shortcuts to choose specific targets to your command:



@p = The player closest to you


@r = Random player


@a = all players in the world


@e = All entities around the world


@s = you


Coordinates are expressed as x.y.z. The distance x is east (+) or west (-) from the origin point. z is south (+) or north (-) from the origin point. y is the height between the 255th and 0th, 64th being sea level. You can also utilize tilde () or caret () notation with numbers to indicate relative coordinates offsets from your current location, with the notation by itself representing 0 or which means there is there is no offset. Tilde offsets are based upon the world coordinates, so ~5 ~ ~-5 would be +5 blocks on the x (east) and no blocks on y (same height) and 5 blocks on z (north). Caret offsets are calculated based on which direction the player's head is facing in relation to the left, forward and upward axes. Therefore, 5 -5 would mean five blocks left, five blocks upwards (same height) 5 blocks backward.



Minecraft player cheats and commands



/kill [player] - Kill yourself (or specified player)



- Teleport yourself or a certain player to the coordinates entered by you



- Apply the effect to the player or entity that you have specified with an option for a duration of seconds. Here is the list of effect codes



Remove all effects or you can choose to only remove the effect that is specific to the player/entity



Apply the enchantment on the player's item of choice at an additional level. Here is a list of enchantment codes



- Adds the stated amount of points for experience to the player. To add experience levels add the word levels at the end of the line.



Cheats and commands for Minecraft's environment and world



/seed - Creates a seed code so you can recreate your world in the future.



- Set the world's spawning location to the current position of the player, or possibly specified coordinates if you are entering.



Set the game mode (use survival, creative, adventure, or spectator) for you or an optional player



This question will determine the meaning of a specific rule in a game or amend it when an optional value is entered. A list of rules codes can be found here.



Sets the difficulty level (use peaceful easy, normal or hard)



- Sets the world's game time. Use 0 (Dawn), 1000(Morning), 6000(Midday), 12000 (12000) or 18000 (Night).



To activate the day/night cycle, turn off the day/night cycle, and replace false with true



- Sets the weather type (use rain or clear, or thunder) for an optional duration of seconds



- Turn off weather changes, then replace false with true to reactivate



- Copy the blocks within the area between coordinates and and then place them with coordinates at the lower northwest corner



Minecraft Item and Mob cheats and commands



Give [quantity] - Adds item to the player's inventory, in specified quantity in the event that item can be stackable. Here is a list of the item codes.



- Save your inventory items even after you die Replace true with false to reverse



- Creates an entity at the current location of the player or optionally at specified coordinates if you enter them. Here is a list of entities codes
