Rami Beracha's Challenging Past
While Rami Beracha appears to have achieved success in all the endeavors he has set his mind on, his path was not an easy one. Beracha was a soldier as an untrained young man, like most Israelis. He was a Paratrooper's Brigade Combat Soldier and fought through The Lebanon War. In 1983, shortly after the end of the war, Rami was part of an emergency rescue team that was sent to help wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Rami was unfortunate to have fallen into an underground mine and sustained a fractured foot and a hand injury.

He went through one of the most difficult periods of his life, and hospitalization was the final result of that. He was unable to move and was overwhelmed by depression and despair. The dream of becoming an officer in the Army seemed unrealized and he lost his sense of self. Through his suffering, Rami was able to be driven to continue living and create new dreams. He determined to be better and stronger than before the injuries. Rami was able to test out extreme sports. He is a fan of kitesurfing and snowboarding. He has also hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He often feels like his unharmed past is pushing him ahead, even as working to improve.

In the year 2016 Rami took the group of men who suffered injuries during their army service on a trip to Nepal. In 2018, he received promoted to major in Israeli army's fire and paratrooper brigades. He was a dreamer as when he was a teenager and they came to fruition despite all the obstacles. His life and story can be a source of inspiration for other people, and he never gave up, no matter what the circumstance. Rami didn't let injuries stop him from pursuing his goals He continued to learn and trying new things until he was even more resilient than before.
