Can you run it? Test your PC against Minecraft system requirements.
Can I Run Minecraft?
You don't need an entire chest of diamonds to build a gaming PC capable of surmounting the Minecraft system requirements, but the game has some features available to those with more powerful systems.
In order to build a rig that meets the Minecraft minimum requirements for your system, you'll need to put together something with an Intel Celeron J4105 or AMD FX-4100 processor, at the very least. That's not all, as you'll need an Intel HD Graphics 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 graphics cards, and 4GB of RAM. The Minecraft size is tiny it takes just 1GB of space on your storage solution of your choice. It will grow as you build more worlds. Don't forget to upgrade Windows 10 64-bit.
If you're looking to surpass the Minecraft recommended system requirements, don't push your budget too much further. Performance should be improved by upgrading to an Intel A7-6500U or AMD AMD A8-6600K, especially when paired up with an NVIDIA GeForce 940M GPU or AMD Radeon HD-8570D GPU. It is also necessary to increase the amount of RAM you have, for a total of 8GB.
The primary difference between Minecraft RTX's requirements for RTX systems, and the base game is in the GPU they require. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 is needed, at the minimum, to play Ray Tracing in Minecraft and you can't use an AMD Radeon card.
Minecraft Steam
It is not possible to download Minecraft on Steam and it is unlikely to ever be possible. It's still available through PC Game Pass and the old Java version can be downloaded via the official website.
Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update
Minecraft 1.19 The Wild Update is the most recent major update for the game. It introduces new mangrove and deep dark biomes, as well as items exclusive to each. The patch introduces new mobs like the warden, frog, and tadpole to the game.
Minecraft Java and Bedrock Editions for PC
As as of June 7, the once separate Java and Bedrock editions of Minecraft are now only available as one package. The owners of either version will have their licenses upgraded to this all-in-one bundle, and it should allow players to more quickly play with both versions of the game.

Minecraft performance guide
If you're struggling to get a smooth frame rate in Minecraft, there are ways to make it better.
It's easy option of switching your graphics from "Fancy" to "Fast" and reducing the render distance, removing clouds, and turning off the more complex lighting and particle effects. You can also opt to run the game on a smaller or a larger screen. The former helps by giving your computer fewer on-screen data to process, the latter is by making sure that your computer is focused solely on Minecraft. Try the other option if the first one doesn't work.
- Being in close proximity to a lot of other players on a multiplayer server may cause significant lag. Set up your base in a location that is more remote.
- To check your frame rate Press F3 to display the debug screen. If you're having trouble, open the Task Manager and set the Minecraft process to high priority.
