This Minecraft Redstone chicken mini-game is extremely strange. We're not used to seeing Redstone oddities. After all we've seen MS Paint being recreated in Redstone and even things as cool Ghostbusters theme songs, but it doesn’t usually involve chickens such as this.
Minecraft generally protects chickens, unless you're building a factory farm in order to provide food. We're not going to judge you for doing this. It's obvious that chickens make adorable Minecraft mob. It's only natural to love watching them navigate through a maze. Aww, so cute... at least you'd think so.

SGHQ released a video on Reddit that's titled "the machine that makes things happen." We're giving away some of the spoilers in this article because the title definitely invites mystery, but it's kind of an exciting ride. The video starts with the player attaching an animal's leash and trapping it. They then climb on a lift and begin to drag the chicken along with them.
This is where you'll be able to play the mini-game. You're expected to keep the chicken alive, and keep it from getting crushed or burned while you traverse the course. It's gorgeous and it's nice that the first chicken gets to the bottom after such a difficult journey. What's a bit confusing about this gadget is that even if you get to the bottom, the chicken is shot by two arrows. That's not the victory condition we'd be aiming for here.
Perhaps if the prize was Minecraft diamonds, it would make more sense but we'd rather see the chicken live Please. If you are the type of person who wishes to immortalize your chicken then you should check out how Minecraft forge 1.19 is installed.
