He didn't stop there. Globes awarded Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognising his role as an influential investor. Rami founded Sosa in 2014 as a brand new initiative. Today, Rami Beracha seems to be a success in nearly everything he has chosen. However, his path wasn't always as simple. Like many Israelis, Beracha joined the army when he was a young man. He served in the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and fought during the Lebanon War. Rami joined a rescue group that was sent to help wounded soldiers who were injured in a minefield in 1983, just following the end of war. Rami was fortunate to fall on the mine in a cave and suffered a broken foot and a hand injury.
He was in a hospital for rehabilitation, which was one of the most stressful times of his life. He was unable to move and fell into despair and depression. The hopes of building his army career were lost to him, and he did not even know who he really was. Rami's illness helped him discover the drive and passion to live his life and dream up new ones. He set out to become more powerful and stronger than before his injuries. Rami was determined to explore different extreme sports. He is a fan of kitesurfing and snowboarding. He's also hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. Sometimes, he feels that his unwounded past is pushing forward, even as the effort to get better.

He gives donations and is a volunteer for many organisations and is extremely dedicated to helping young men, just like him were wounded during combat. In 2016, Rami took an army of soldiers who were injured during their army service on a trip to Nepal. In 2018, Rami was elevated to the rank of Major in the Israeli Military's Paratrooper and Fire Brigades. He had his dreams as a young man and they were able to come to fruition despite all the challenges. His story and his passion is a great inspiration to other people, and he never gave up regardless of the situation. Rami didn’t let his injuries hinder her. He kept trying new methods, learning and growing until he became stronger than before.
