Minecraft mods can do a lot these days but some of the most innovative ones include new features. Some allow you to see forever, others let you drive in Mario Karts and some make the game into an Elden Ring. Minecraft The Mi Alliance mod, however, is something completely different and it's amazing.
The Mi Alliance: Invasion! mod was released in June however, it's been continuously updated since then to help iron out the kinks and even add new features. This Minecraft mod introduces new enemies, the Mi Alliance.
The Mi Alliance, aside from appearing to be old-fashioned Worms characters in their appearance, is actually quite formidable. For starters, they're more than content to construct their own structures, which is strange enough on its own. However, they're also significantly smarter than many Minecraft mobs, and will roam across the globe in groups, ready to take on any person they encounter. The first trailer showcases the mobs in combat.
You're not required to take down these threats on your own and you can develop your own Mi Alliance and have them fight on your behalf with you. The 2.0 update which was released this week (July 18) is a significant addition to the mod, including more enemies, weapons, and ores, too. You can even ride on unique vehicles and explore new ruin sites.
It's an ambitious mod that will make Minecraft feel new again for long-time players. If the updates keep coming at the same rate you can expect it to become something truly remarkable in the next few months. It's always gratifying to see a mod develop from being a good thing to something innovative, and the Mi Alliance: Invasion! Mi Alliance: Invasion!
