CLAT 2023 : How to Revise ?
For the CLAT 2023 exam three things are of utmost importance: Revision, writing Mock Tests and reviewing Mock Tests. In this article, we discuss the first. We will discuss the sources, approach and timeline of revision that you need to follow.

Sources of revision for CLAT 2023

The sources for revision must be concise, correct and clear. You should revise Current Affairs, English Vocabulary, Static GK, Maths formula, Logical tricks, Constitution and Legal facts/terms etc. for CLAT 2023 exam.

For many of these, you must have received free small booklets from your coaching as ClatPrep also provides to our students. Use those pdfs/booklets for revision. Those of you who do not have the benefit of these booklets can use Lucent for basic static GK, Norman Lewis for Vocabulary, monthly compilations for Current etc. Please ensure that you have only one source for one topic. Do not use multiple sources as this will not help in revision.

Approach for revision

Before CLAT 2023, you should do at least 2 revisions of your material. While revising for the first time, you should underline important things that you do not remember, for revision during next time. Do not try to make notes as there is no time for that. Make a schedule and stick to it. You can use the Pomodoro technique which will help you to manage your time efficiently. It will be very helpful to you.

Timeline for Revision

The first revision should take around 30 days and the second one around 15 days. Keep 10 days as reserved for festivals, parties etc. Please remember that you have to keep writing mock tests during this period too. For Clat 2023 , you should have a relaxed schedule, so complete 2nd revision around 6-7 days before the actual exam. You can actually do the third revision for CLAT 2023 in that duration.

Crash Courses

Many or actually most of the coachings, including ClatPrep, will offer online/offline crash courses after the board exams are over. These crash courses should be called revision courses more accurately. You may join one of these if you are already familiar with the pattern and the syllabus. If not, I would not recommend you joining these courses as it would only give you anxiety.
