Nintendo Game Content Guidelines for Online Video & Image Sharing Platforms

We are constantly humbled by your love and loyalty for Nintendo's games, characters and worlds, as well as the fact that you want to to express yourself creatively by sharing your own original videos and images based on content from our games.
We'll let you use gameplay footage and/or screenshots from Nintendo games ("Nintendo Game Content") as long as you follow some basic rules. These guidelines are designed to help you.
You are able to make money from your channels and videos by using the monetization techniques separately defined by Nintendo. Other methods of monetization used for commercial purposes related to our intellectual property aren't allowed. We encourage you to create videos that incorporate your personal input and commentary. Videos and images that include mere copies of Nintendo Game Content without creative commentary or input aren't allowed. However, you are able to post gameplay and screenshots using Nintendo system features (such as the Capture Button on Nintendo Switch) without additional commentary or input. You are only able to make use of Nintendo Game Content that has been released by Nintendo or from promotional materials that have been officially released by Nintendo (such as trailers for the product or Nintendo Directs). - If you want to use the intellectual property of a third-party, you must obtain the necessary permissions from third parties. It is not allowed to state or imply that your videos are sponsored by or associated with Nintendo. - We reserve the right to take down any content we believe to be illegal, infringing, inappropriate or in conflict with these guidelines.
Please be aware that we will not be capable of responding to individual questions regarding these Guidelines. We may also update these Guidelines from time to time Please ensure you are aware of the latest version before sharing your content.
