Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.1

We're now making available 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This version adds Allay duplication as well as a new Player Safety features.



- Allay Duplication Tweaked Skulk Catalysts. • Chat Trust status - New Options for Chat Preview. Player Reporting - Added



Allay



The Allays dance to a Record in a Jukebox. If the Allay receives an Amethyst Shard, while dancing it will duplicate. Duplication takes 5 minutes for cooling down



Sculk Catalyst



- Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP instead of 20



Chat



- Changed the chat scrollbar to the right



Chat Trust Status



Messages that have not been signed with Secure Chat or have been altered by the server will be flagged. If there is no valid signature or signatures that are not valid will be identified as "Not Secure". The messages marked with "Modified" are messages that are detected to have been altered.



The indicator's color remains visible throughout the chat screen. The icon is not visible when the chat screen has been opened.



In the case of modified messages the original secure text will be displayed in the tooltip



Chat Preview



- Addition of "When Sending" Chat Preview option to update chat previews only when trying to send a message. To confirm the sending of a message the second keystroke of the Enter/Return key is required - The prior "ON" setting was changed to "While typing"



Player Reporting



Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. A reporter is required to select the specific chat messages with the objectionable content, as well as the category of the report to provide the most appropriate context for our moderation team to take action. This is accessed through the social interactions screen.



- Multiple chat messages can be reported. Additional chat messages relating to this selection will also be used to provide our moderation team with further information.



The Report Categories screen contains a "Learn About Reporting” button that directs users to a help article.

Suspensions & Bans



If you've been banned from playing online, the game will display a notice screen when it starts. The reasons for the suspension and the time it has been in force are displayed.



Realms



- A message that has been blocked by the Java Realms Profanity Filter will now be marked with a yellow marker. Players will be notified when the chat message they sent has been completely filtered for one or more of the players on the Realm



Technical



Chat input boxes do not apply to custom fonts that have negative advances or glyphs with advances higher than 32



Chat Types



Chat types that were added to the chat_types Registry are only used for chat with players and not system chat messages. The game_info and chat types for system chat have been deleted



Chat types do not support overlays - A message from the system should instead be used to display overlays



This chat type parameter can be used by the msg_command_outgoing



Components



- The run_command event for text components is not able to allow sending chat messages directly. Only commands are supported. The values now have to be prefixed with. - Commands like say that create the chat message signed should be used instead.

Multiplayer Secure Chat Signing



The sequence of chat messages is now cryptographically verified- This is used for validating the message's context for Player Reports



Server



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs



Fixed bugs in 1.19.1



More than 50 bugs were fixed in this version. Check out the list of bugs on the issue tracker.



Get the Release



Open the Minecraft Launcher, and click on "Install the Release". MY BLOG Make sure that your Launcher is set up to the "Latest Version" option.
