The Minecraft Vanilla Cape has players puzzled. There are tons of cool capes to choose from in Minecraft. Did you know that? It's one of those item slots in the sandbox game many people do not pay focus on, but they're there if you need to use them. Some of these items can be used to migrate your Mojang account or attend events. However you'll need to do something before you can access an item that is coming up.
The Minecraft Vanilla Cape is a well-kept secret at the moment. This is because an article appeared earlier in the week on the official Minecraft website about the cape, however it was removed within a few hours. It's a bizarre state of affairs and there's absolutely no reason for why this is the case.
Phoenix SC posted a video about the whole incident, and even created an illustration to show the cape in motion. The short version of the whole story is that Mojang published a blog that we've linked to, but which returns an error 404 "not found" error, then shut it down. Thinkofdeath.co.uk It stated that players who purchased both the Bedrock and Java versions of Minecraft prior to June 6 2022 would receive an expensive Vanilla Cape.
The page was taken down within a couple of hours, and can only be found on the Wayback Machine and the Wayback Machine, which is just very odd. There's nothing particularly scandalous about the article, nor does it seem to be something that was announced in the early hours. Although we don't know why it was removed, it is clear that it was. According to the wiki, it was also posted on the Minecraft Discord server. What's the reason for the post removed from the website?
