After the 11 January 2022 Update

A ghost is undead monsters that can be which can be found in numerous places and dungeons. They are the souls and bodies of the dead that are unable to enter the afterlife. This is due to a conflict they faced with their living relatives. They are also summoned to perform their duties by necromancers, similar to zombies or skeletons.



As they are undead, the salve amulet effects work well on their bodies. While ghosts do not provide effective in combat however, they can be an slayer task that is that is assigned by Jacquelyn and Vannaka and have a chance of dropping the Ghost hunter armor and Ectoplasmator. Ghosts of level 50, which can be called forth in the Forgotten Cemetery after the Spirit of Summer quest, drop anything, but they are in the Wilderness. To summon the ghosts of level 50, first close the coffins. Then you can use Jennica's Ring enter the spirit realm in the graveyard. Then, open the coffins in the graveyard and return to the realm of spirits. This is a tedious and complex task that can be extremely inefficient for both ghost Slayer tasks and profit.



To advance through a level the player must kill certain ghosts in Melzar's Maze. Ghostly warriors Tormented wraiths Revenants Some creatures that seem ghostly are not considered ghosts and do not count towards fulfilling an Slayer assignment for ghosts. This includes:



Aberrant spectres Ankous – All kinds of banshees All kinds of ghasts All types of shades


It is also important to know that Ectofuntus and Port Phasmatys residents are ghosts, but cannot be attacked.

F2P Ghosts now have the ability to drop the ability Cremation and the ghost hunter outfit.

Ghosts were able to drop the ability to reanimate as well as four pieces of gear for ghost hunters after Halloween 2014's event. Following the 11 January update for 2016, they were also given the option of dropping the herb burner that can be deployed.
