Life of Christ Board Game

Objective Move around the board to collect tokens and answer any questions about the ministry and life of Christ. The winner is the one with the most tokens at end of the game.




Materials Needed:




Game Board Game markers 1 die 150 Question Cards Tokens



Set up two small baskets on the table to put questions cards in. Place the question cards in one basket. The other basket will be used to store the discards. Place your markers in the "Birth of Jesus" area. To determine who begins the game, each player throws one (1) die. The first two players of each team throw one (1) die. The player with the best throw starts. Each player starts their turn by rolling the die (1), and then moving as many spaces as they need to. The player to their right will draw one of the cards and read the question loud. Each card contains questions about Christ's life. If the player answers the correct, they are awarded a token. If they fail to answer the question correctly, they do not receive a token, and their turn is over. If the player rolls a 6 with one die or a combination of dice (2) they can take one token from any player they want.

The question is asked to the first player who can travel across the entire game board and land on the Ascension area (you don't need to roll the exact number). If the answer is wrong the player will continue on the Ascension area and will have another chance to answer the question during their next turn. If the correct answer is provided the game will be over and all players will be able to count their tokens. The player who has the most tokens wins the game.



Game Board- Print the Game Board, cut it out, assemble it, and glue it on the cardboard. Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to ensure it will last.



Question Cards - Print out Question Cards on card stock. Use only the cards that are appropriate to the abilities of your student. Laminate or cover with clear contact paper to make them last.



*You can use the questions cards provided or create your own. You can also create cards that match the lessons you've been learning in your class.
