Minecraft meet-up in Peterborough described as 'awful'

Parents of Minecraft gamers are displeased with the absence of activities and the long lines at an unofficial convention.
On Saturday, around 4,100 people were at MineVention at Peterborough Arena to meet stars and play games.
However, dozens of people said they had to wait for hours to see idols or eat meals and demanded refunds.
Organiser Lisa O'Brien said the queues were long and she'll issue a statement on refunds in the near future.
The event is not affiliated with Minecraft developer Mojang and was founded in Ireland. It was the first time that it was held in the UK.

Fans of Minecraft the worldwide gaming phenomenon, had the opportunity to meet "Youtubers" to take photos and play games.
The event was hosted by Jason Bradbury, TV's Gadget Show host, and urged viewers to dress up as Steve the game's main character in an attempt to break the world record.
Then it came under criticism on social media, with people complaining about the long lines, a absence of food and merchandise stalls, and activities for fans.
Vicky Abraham posted on Facebook that she waited in line with her five-year-old son for over an hour only 30 seconds on a computer.
Another parent reported waiting 45 minutes for a bottle of water and said the experience was "appalling" with "naff-all to do". Another parent contacted the BBC to inform them that they had left after a half-hour because the queues were long, and her son was "crying all the way to home".
Some people posted on Facebook that they were satisfied with the event. One of them saying: "I thought your event was great for PS15."
Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management said that she felt with parents since we all have children. Due to the sheer number of people that showed at the event instead of buying tickets in advance, the lines were 45 minutes long, she said.
She claimed that the event was unprecedented in scale and that some official merchandise did not arrive in time for the event to take place.
She added that organizers had "taken into account everyone's comments, suggestions" and would be meeting to resolve any issues. A further statement would be made on Monday night.
