Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade has passed away following the battle with stage four cancer. Alex, the 23-year-old, passed away after fighting stage four cancer. He had more than 10.8 million subscribers to his channel.
A touching goodbye video was uploaded in which Technoblade's father read a goodbye message from the YouTuber that thanked his fans for their support throughout the nine years that he made content.
"If I had another hundred lives, I think I would prefer to be Technoblade again every single time as those were the happiest years of my life," his message read. "I hope you guys liked my content and that you found some humor in it. I hope you all live long, prosper, and happy lives because I love you all. Technoblade is out
Technoblade known as a popular personality, kept his identity secret. Technoblade revealed his real name in his farewell message, but revealed last year that he was diagnosed with cancer in his right arm. In the video his father explains that Technoblade died just hours after he wrote the message.
His mother also left a note in writing at the end of the video. "[Technoblade] stayed clear of fame and did his best to keep his identity confidential We ask that you continue to honor his wishes to safeguard his privacy and the privacy of his family," it reads.
"My son's courage on this path was an inspiring example to all of us who were fortunate enough to walk it with them." We are grateful that you shared his journey with us while he worked hard to do the work he loved for his loved ones.
