Broken Sky texture. I have 1.12.2 Opfine installed. I messed with the details settings and the Sun sky, star, and sky options, and after im done, the sky has broken textures. Reverting back to the default settings didn't help. What can I do?

Honestly, it's kinda been on my mind for the last week or so and I thought I'd post it here.



The fact that the unique amount of items per storage cell remains at 63, no matter the level is quite disappointing. Maybe each level can have twice the number of unique items than the storage size before, starting at 32. It would contain 32 64, 127, 128 and 256 unique items per cell. This is due to the fact that as with many mods I use this mod for huge storage when I have many mods that add content, and having to have many disk drives is a huge drain on resources. This leads to the next issue.





How do items are counted. Perhaps the serial number should be replaced with an ID tag. This will allow items such as enchanted novels to be kept out of the system.





I do not have the time nor the expertise to comprehend the system so this may be the best route to proceed.





















What are the "best coding practices" to create a mod pack or run a server? Excellent suggestions for increasing QOL and speed.

i've been coding for about 2 months, running a server for my own pack for about a month, And want to learn some more about how to improve my coding/organization/shortcuts/ formatting/etc.some notes are that i'm using Kube.js, Javascript (obviously), VSC, and i have a github here (https://github.com/Apoachedpenguin/Waddlecraft-home) if anyone cares to look over it and see where i can improve! (embarrassed to share, but wondering how better to get better)



If you have any good ideas for beginners to code or things that have greatly improved your quality of life, let me know. Here's an inventory of things I struggle with but i'd love to hear about any suggestions that have helped improve your QOL (no mater how small). Even if they don’t apply to me, they could be used by others who may be asking the same question :)



A few general questions to generate ideas however i would like to hear about anything, i am making modpacks and runnins



How to quickly read log messages and error logs. I can solve my own kubejs issues however, finding strange conflicts and warnings in logs and kubejs's logs is a challenge (and takes THOUSANDS of lines of code!)





how can i more efficiently accomplish a large number of "custom" events in a row? My friend has set up an event, but it's something I still need to learn. Tlauncher (first one worked, but my god was it FUGLY)





How can I cut down on the amount of code, streamline it or better organize my work?





how best can i find mod conflicts, Just logs? Is there a better method to do this?





How can I stop the continual assault of hell-born chickens who want to eat my flesh?





What mods can be used to reduce lag? (I have a huge list of server-side mods that a friend sent me but I've not had the time to look through them all, pick some and make sure they do not conflict.





What can I do to remove old unused items (old mod configurations I do not need, redundant and also an unnecessary github file, which i wasn’t sure whether it was necessary)?
