Minecraft Dungeons is on the way to consoles and PC, albeit a bit later than expected. Mojang says the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler spin-off will be released on May 26th on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as was revealed at the last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.
The original plan was to release Minecraft Dungeons in April by the Microsoft-owned studio. However, the company stated that due to the coronavirus-related issues, this was not possible. We wanted to ensure the safety and health of our teams and give our players the best experience we could offer.

- Minecraft Dungeons (@dungeonsgame), March 31 2020 Mojang also revealed some details about the game which include that a future patch will bring cross-platform multiplayer. You'll be able to join with three other players in both online and local co-op modes. The missions consist of procedurally generated elements and fixed elements that keep the game fresh each time you play but still keeping the story and goals.
Minecraft Dungeons will be available in two versions. Along with the $20 standard edition, there's a $30 hero edition that includes cosmetic items as well as access to two DLC packs which are coming soon.
