This Minecraft Mod Lets You See Infinity

There are Minecraft mods that can accomplish whatever you like from adding trains to making combat more similar to Elden Ring. Some mods are subtler and are more focused on modifying the player's experience in minor ways. For instance, the Minecraft Distant Horizons mod that lets you view forever.



Distant Horizons: A Level of Detail for giving it its full name, is a mod that increases the distance you can see. It's All About Ed It's a simple enough idea but the end result is that you can see further than you'd normally be capable of. This turns every hike up the side of a mountain into a much more significant experience, since the view from the top is a lot more impressive.



It also means you'll find it easier to find biomes you're looking for. It's easier to see things from a greater distance so that you can find a vantage point that allows you to find the exact thing you're seeking. If you're looking for a little more proof about the extent to which it can alter things, TheMindIsStrange over on Reddit posted a few pictures to show off the mod, including the video below.

As you can see, this demonstrates how much of a difference extra rendering distance can make. They fly over a small area of the world, and the scale is incredible. They also included an image that shows how the End appears with this mod enabled. It also illustrates how bizarre super flat universes can look.
