The first four episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode came out in quick intervals, offering players a tightly crafted tale prior to Christmas. Telltale the game's developer suddenly stopped talking about the final date of the story. Today we have an exact date, but it's not what we were expecting. Episode five airs on the 29th of March. Three more episodes are scheduled to follow later in the year. The episodes are being referred to as "additional adventures" and will not be included in the season pass. You'll have to purchase a premium subscription if want the full story.
"We're not going to go into details about the content yet however we can say that they'll be great and may have an atypical flavor compared to the previous season," Mojang's Owen Hill stated in an article on the blog. If you're familiar with Minecraft: Story Mode you will understand the reasons why the team may be keen to create more episodes. The world is undergoing an important shift towards the end of episode 4, which opens up new adventures for Jesse or the Order of the Stone.
