Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.1 is available and includes some controversial changes, which many players aren't satisfied with.
First, player reporting is now part of the system. This lets players report abusive messages on game chat. You can report specific servers and choose multiple messages to include as well as make comments. From there, Mojang / Microsoft moderators will examine the reports and address them. It applies to all, including private servers. Linking with that is another change to the text chat. It will add a note to the chat for each message that is not sent, or in the event that it is altered by the server.
Mojang claims that players will not be banned for swearing however, it's more focused on "hate speech" or bullying, harassment sexual solicitation or threats to others". name mc It won't impact single-player gameplay when you're banned.
There are mods that can be used to bypass this, for instance, the No Chat Reports mod, which claims to remove chat messages' signatures and make it "impossible for anyone to trace or associate your Minecraft and, consequently, your Microsoft accounts with chat messages".
Mojang recently expressed disapproval of NFTs and blockchain in Minecraft, in case you didn't notice it.
