arcy watched him flip the screen– it was a function she had turned off on her phone, so she had entirely forgotten about it. “Oh, yeah, if you flip your phone you flip your screen– but if you don’t like it, we can turn it off. I’m not a huge fan of that function.”

She felt as if she had done something wrong– Bucky seemed to be clearly upset by the mentioning of the Howling Commandos; Her chest ached with the need to say something to make him feel better, but Darcy knew that it was impossible for her to come up with something that would make him feel better– she wasn’t very good at soothing people. “Sure, take– take your time with it. I mean, it’s just a suggestion. You don’t have to, if you don’t want to.” Darcy added, hoping that her voice sounded casual but the way that Steve looked at her she felt as if she had failed at that. Great. I pushed my finger in the wounds of Bucky-Freaking-Barnes. Great job, Darce.

Darcy chewed on her lower lip as she usually did when she felt nervous; Steve could feel her nervousness and interfered. “Maybe that’s enough for a day?”, the male suggested and Darcy shrugged. “I mean, I could keep goin’. Depends on whether you’re sick of me yet, Sarge.” She playfully bumped her shoulder with Bucky’s (the flesh shoulder, not the metal one), smiling awkwardly. “On another note, though, you guys game for tonight?” Darcy raised one eyebrow, looking from Bucky to Steve and back– she didn’t know if Bucky even know that Sunday nights were teambuilding nights, as Darcy liked to call him. Usually, the teambuilding consisted of pizza, movies, games and snacks; She had never seen the brunette male there yet, Steve stopped going as well once Bucky was here– probably to not leave his friend alone. “It’ll be real fun, I promise. I’ll reserve you the best seats in the house, if you’re coming. We’ll watch that dog movie that Thor loves so much. What’s it called? Marley or something– do you remember, Steve?” Steve shrugged. “Marley and me, I think.” Darcy nodded. “Yup, that was it. You will probably watch a hunky Asgardian demi-god bawl his eyes it, it’s glorious. You guys wanna come?”
