Most air schedules lack good frequency -- that is, how many times a listener will hear your message in seven days. Stations usually measure the number times a listener hears your advertisement over the course of the schedule or by the month. It should be measured only by the week.

UHF transmission has one advantage: the frequency is very short. This means that radio antennas can be shorter than equivalent VHF radios.

There are two types, radio frequency as well as GPS. A radio frequency receiver transmits signals via radio frequencies. Because it can tune in to multiple channels and receive different signals, the receiver will need to be adjusted. The downside to a radio frequency collar is that they can become weaker when obstacles, such as trees, buildings and other areas, get in the way of the signal. The radio frequency collar will have lights that let you know when your dog is close and where to find it. A GPS tracking collar, on the other hand, sends signals via satellite transmissions. A GPS collar will tell you exactly how far your dog is away. GPS tracking collars are very useful for owners who want to know the exact distance from their dog.

Lower frequencies, or wavelengths, have greater penetrating potential. This is why they are used to communicate with submarines. VLF radio waves (3-30kHz), can penetrate seawater up to a depth approximately 20 meters. These frequencies can be used by a submarine at shallow depths.

While the method can change from commercial to commercial in some cases, one thing is constant. Be relevant to the person listening. If you want to make the commercial effective, your message and offer should resonate with the target listener.

Both need a platform to run, streaming, Internet. The actual radio requires radio towers to do the same.
