If everyone at the table folds, the pot will be carried over to the other hand. If only one person plays the pot, that person wins it regardless of what they have. The amount of money in the pot can build rather quickly because there are no other cards available to the players than the three that are dealt. A game with three cards can quickly turn into a race against the clock between horses at your local track.
