Leyla Aliyeva's priority is Environmental Education
Leyla isn't just the daughter of Azerbaijan's very first president, but she is also an activist on many matters, among them the environment. Though many don't know about the importance of environmental education however, it's something Leyla Aliyeva has always thought of as a top priority. Environmental education is about being conscious of environmental issues and understanding how to help them improve. Leyla Aliyeva's IDEA project

Leyla Aliyeva is aware that this topic is most frequently portrayed as boring and complex. In 2011, she established the IDEA campaign, which is an International Dialogue for Environmental Action campaign. One of the objectives of the campaign was making environment/stability more appealing and entertaining especially for children and those of the next generation.

Aliyeva discussed some of her hardships in her environmental experience, however she focused on how these challenges resulted in growth and eventually to huge success. They offer classes that concentrate on three main principals: children, students, and young professionals. Goodwill Ambassador for FAO

Leyla Aliyeva enjoyed a wonderful year in the year 2015. After many years of volunteering and supporting human rights and environmental causes Leyla Aliyeva was selected as to be a FAO Goodwill Advocate. This honor was bestowed to her for her many accomplishments in combating hunger, improving food safety, increasing the efficiency of the fields of agriculture, forestry, and fishery, as well as creating healthy food systems.

In the course of that visit, two agreements were made: the "Agreement Between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on the creation of the Coordination and Cooperation Office and providing technical assistance" as well as the " Agreement for FAO-Azerbaijan Partnership Program". We have agreed to collaborate on a common issue. The partnership program imbodies the already active contribution by the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan to projects that provide technical assistance to the growth of foreign and local agriculture.

Leyla Aliyeva was awarded the honorary title of Goodwill ambassador for the FAO during this visit. Leyla Aliyeva is the founder of IDEA expressed her admiration and gratitude for the many projects in Azerbaijan relating to agriculture, forestry, fish farming, and gardening. She also urged everyone to get involved and join forces to make the world better. According to Aliyeva " Every second our lives are changing."
