Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born in Moscow on July 3, 1986. Leyla Aliyeva She attended school in London and Moscow and earned the Master's Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. In July 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting public awareness and action regarding environmental concerns in Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA focuses heavily on the young. It works with them in identifying solutions to environmental problems.
She was elected representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that contributes to the country's social and economic growth. It has a wide range of projects in education, sport, culture, technology, and the environment. She was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku' magazine in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to create the magazine in English. The magazine was first launched in London in October of 2011, and was launched in London on Oct. Leyla Aliyeva The magazine gives readers the chance to learn about the arts, culture and Azerbaijan. Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibit of contemporary art from Azerbaijan in the year 2012. Leyla Alyeva has launched "Justice for Khojaly", a campaign to mark the anniversary of the Shusha occupation. The campaign is currently running in more than 30 countries. It is designed to increase awareness in the international community regarding the Karabakh conflict.

Leyla Aliyeva was made the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue’s General Coordinator in 2008. She was also elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th 2009. AMOR supports Azerbaijani young people and students living in Russia. In July 2011 the "Taraggi" award was bestowed upon Leyla Aliyeva for her work to the development of Azerbaijani-Russian relationships. In New York she was also given the "Key to Life" award in November 2011 in recognition of her humanitarian projects with children.

Leyla Alyeva was appointed UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

She received the Pushkin Medal in the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is a mother of twins and a daughter.
