EXPLORE OUR 2022 ARTISTS
This year, we are excited to be offering you even more ways to connect with Eastside Culture Crawl artists directly from their studios. Whether virtually, or by in-person studio visits, this year’s engagement expands your experience with our artists while keeping everyone’s safety at the forefront.

HOW IS THE FESTIVAL GOING TO WORK THIS YEAR?

Artists will be opening their studios for two weekends this year, in-person or online, or a combination of both.

All in-person visits will be operated under current public health guidelines. Studios may also be open online for 360 studio tours, live streaming, or live chat through our website during both weekends. You can search by platform (virtual or in-person) or search by artists/medium/building here to find out who is participating via which platforms and when.

HOW WILL THE VIRTUAL PLATFORMS WORK?

There are three main virtual ways to engage directly with our artists this year: virtual studio tours, live stream broadcasts, and live chats. These features are available through individual artist profile pages, which you can find via our Artists page

We are offering additional virtual programming from November 8-21, which includes artist demos, our Talking Art series, and our Moving Art film and video series. All event listings can be found on our Events page.

HOW WILL THE IN-PERSON STUDIO VISITS WORK?

You can search for artists participating in the preview weekend by appointment only in our Artist Search.

https://culturecrawl.ca/ will be for the entire building, not just individual artists. Guests are welcome to visit other artists open in the building during their allotted time

Some artists may be available both during the Crawl and afterward for private appointments. Contact artists directly to explore whether this option is available.

Appointments are not required. Entry is first-come first-served. If building is at capacity you may be required to wait.

*Attendees must be prepared to provide proof of vaccination with their BC Vaccine card and ID. Safety protocols will be in place and enforced.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTISTS IN THE CRAWL?

Visit our Artists page to see participating Crawl artists. You can browse images, search for a specific artist or building, or filter by the medium(s) you are interested in, as well as by who is open for in-person studio visits (Nov 12-14 by appointment, Nov 18-21 open studios) and offering virtual studio features.
