The MDDUS has created a series of podcasts that tackle the most common risks in general practice. The podcasts are written and produced by Jamie Smith, Creative Director at Enterprise Screen. The first episode of Risk Bites follows fictitious 51-year-old patient, Mrs Roberts, who is diagnosed with breast cancer. In this episode, Mrs Roberts and her GP discuss the dangers of this diagnosis. The video is intended to inform and educate viewers about the potential side effects of this disease.
The videos are created by Andrew Maynard, the director of the Risk Innovation Lab. They combine short scripts and whiteboard styles to make risk issues easily understood by a broad audience. The videos cover a range of topics, including health, environmental, and social risks. In addition to offering credible online education, Risk Bites are actively working to expand their reach and web visibility. They've produced more than a hundred short films, and more are on the way.

Despite the low budget, Risk Bites' videos have been viewed over half a million times on YouTube. They're also becoming a valuable resource for organizations, news outlets, and classrooms. And the channel is actively working on expanding its reach. Its content continues to grow. This is a great success, so far, and we hope to see many more of them. The goal is to make the risk-education process more accessible, fun, and entertaining.
