Minecraft is a game full of adventure, exploration and creativity. You survive in a world comprised of blocks similar to Legos - that you can move around in any way you like from your first-person viewpoint. You can do everything from cutting large chunks of stone to construct your home, cutting down trees to make furniture for your home, or making more complicated projects like wells, statues and buildings. Your only limit is your imagination and when you begin creating, you'll realize that the possibilities available to you are endless.



But obviously, building things is just one aspect of Minecraft. The other aspect happens in the night when monsters appear out of their caves, and the game transforms into a true survival horror game. It's also the time to make good use of your bow, sword and archers.



You'll require more than a home with an encasement, a bed and a few tools to survive in Minecraft. Your character will be hungry, and you'll require food as well. Although Minecraft's visuals are not very impressive, as you can see in the video and pictures, the grid layout is essential for gameplay to be logical. You can also alter the graphics with mods and skin packs.



Minecraft is the most popular independent game of the past few years. And for good reason. This masterpiece from Notch has managed to worm its way into the hearts of millions of gamers, who enjoy it on all its available platforms: iOS, Android, Xbox 360, Linux, Mac, and (of course) Windows.
