Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva arose in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1986. She was educated in London and Moscow, and received the Master's Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. She was elected a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Through various projects that span education, sports, science and technology, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the development of the country's socioeconomics. In 2011 she was made Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva created 'Baku magazine' in Moscow in 2007 in Moscow. The magazine in English, produced in conjunction with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. The magazine provides a platform to explore art, culture and Azerbaijan. In 2012, Leyla created the "Fly to Baku" exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The London exhibition was launched and travelled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva became the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's general coordinator in 2008 and was elected chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th, 2009. The organization assists Azerbaijani teens as well as Azerbaijani students in the Russian Federation. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was honored with the "TaraggiAward" in July 2011 for her contributions to the improvement of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. In New York, in November 2011, she received the "Key To Life Award" for her efforts to help the poor that involved children.

On the 25th of May, 2015, Leyla Aliyeva was designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.
