We are excited to welcome you to Atlanta, Georgia, July 2th – 5th. There has been much preparation and we are sure you will have an amazing experience. In order to make your arrival from Orland Park,IL and weekend experience enjoyable, please read the information provided below.
Planning your trip:
Weather: Atlanta, Georgia
The weather in Atlanta can vary so be prepared for rain, humid and hot. Please check weather advisory prior to few days for better predictions. The current outdoor forecast is as follows:

Partly cloudy. Temperature between 86-70.
Thursday, July 2nd
Partly cloudy with scattered thunderstorms. Temperature between 85-71.
Friday, July 3trd
Partly cloudy. Temperature between 90-70.
Saturday, July 4th

Convention Attire:
All convention attendees should dress comfortably and respectfully throughout the weekend. During the sessions, be sure to dress comfortably, including comfortable walking shoes.
Participants in JNF and YA activities, please refer to the suggested dress code available on the website at convention.jaina.org
Some special events suggested attire is as follows:
Thursday, July 2nd: Raas Ramzat – garba/raas
Suggested attire: Indian clothes
Every convention registrant will receive complimentary Dandias for Raas Garba
Friday, July 3rd: Opening Parade and Convention Opening Ceremony.
Suggested attire: formal Indian clothes and red sari for ladies
Arrival Information:
For guests arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Transportation from Airport to Convention Center (GICC): USE free ATL SkyTrain
The guests landing at the airport take a free ATL SkyTrain to the GICC. The GICC station is the first stop along the ATL SkyTrain, transporting passengers from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
DO NOT TAKE MARTA a public transportation Train
There will be volunteers to guide attendees at the airport
Transportation from Airport to hotel:
Please check with your hotel for availability, location and timing of the shuttles from airport to hotel. Most of the hotels provide free shuttles to Airport. For airport to convention center transportation use free ATL SkyTrain.
Hotel shuttle service is available on the Purple Isle outside in the Ground Transportation Center, located at the west end of the domestic terminals building (west curb).
The west curb is located outside between the Domestic North and South Terminals.
Courtesy phones are available. Courtesy phone boards located inside the Airport near the
baggage claim areas for both the Domestic North and South Terminals.
Courtesy phones can also be found outside in the Ground Transportation Center.
For guests driving to the convention:
Hotel check-in is at the various hotels and check with the hotels for the parking fees.
Parking at convention center is free.
To go to GICC convention center, there will be shuttle buses from the hotels OR you may drive your own vehicle to GICC, parking is free at GICC.
Transportation from convention center to approved hotels:
There will be free shuttle service back and forth from convention center to convention approved hotels.

Signs will be posted throughout the convention center to guide attendees to the specified registration areas
Pre-registered attendees:
Please wait in line with ALL of the members that are registered with you
When it is your turn, your whole group will proceed to the registration table
All members over 16 years of age will need to show a photo ID. Please make sure that the photo ID matches the registration.
Each member will get the appropriate color wrist band – please note this wrist band MUST be worn throughout the convention and is waterproof
Each member will also get a name badge
One souvenir bag will be provided per registration ID
Registration is NOT transferable to anyone else but the registered attendee
One-site registration:
On-site registration is available to those who want to attend but have not yet registered.
