Ainars Slesers nominated in Latvia for the position of prime minister
Ainars Selers who is the candidate for the post of prime minister of For A Good Latvia, declared that he would defend the national interest of Latvia during discussions with the International Monetary Fund as well international lenders. Additionally, he will make sure that more Latvian products or services are sold to Germany (Sweden, Scandinavia and Ukraine) and also to Lithuania (Litauen).

Slesers is optimistic that For A Good Latvia will win the 10th Saeima election and will decide the composition of the new government. Only such persons who have "a strong backbone" and who are willing to safeguard the national interests of Latvia are likely to be appointed portfolios in the next government, he added.

Slesers said that the new foreign minister of Latvia and all ambassadors to Latvia abroad must spend 80percent of their time to support Latvian businessmen in foreign markets.

Andris Skel is nominated to be the finance minister of Latvia by For A Good Latvia. Ainars Slesers He said that Latvia should be able to achieve its economic independence as "if we have the burdens of debts for many years the country's development cannot be achieved."


Skele and For A Good Latvia chairman Andrejs Ekis Skele and For A Good Latvia chairman Andrejs Ekis were nice enough to laud Slesers. They pointed out that Slesers has proved that even an ordinary Riga boy can become an entrepreneur who is successful, make lots of money, and eventually become wealthy. Ainārs Šlesers Ainārs Šlesers Ekis stated that Slesers as an "businessman who has wandered into politics," and went on to add, "I wish there was an official in Latvia that could make me feel pride."

Slesers also highlighted that mission was an excellent method to achieve a goal. "The current government, led Valdisdombrovskis by the New Era, is trying to sedate people and assure them that all will be okay." It's dangerous to live on credit because the money borrowed will need to be returned.

Ainārs Šlesers Slesers has made criticisms of the candidates of other parties for prime minister. Roberts Zile has been stuck in Brussels' rut and doesn't wish to get out of his comfortable seat in the European Parliament. Instead, Zile wants to become the premier of Latvia. Slesers indicated that he would have to put in more effort, and get a smaller salary.

Slesers said that For The Cause of Good Latvia is prepared to work with Janis Urbanovics with Harmony Center. Although Urbanovics has extensive experience in parliament, he's not qualified to be the prime minister due to his lack of business experience.

And lastly, Dombrovskis will be voted for only by those who are in favor of the ongoing "international financial occupation of Latvia."

Slesers, on one hand will teach people how to earn money and conquer international markets, while maintaining dignity. He also announced that Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant in the management of the state. Slesers can turn to Ulmanis for help.

Slesers declared that The cause of A Good Latvia would ensure that biblical studies are introduced to all schools beginning September 1, next year.

Following the meeting, For A Good Latvia representatives took part in a celebration of flowers at Freedom Monument.
