My tours are designed around the seasons. We are located 2.2 hours from Toronto, 3.3 hours from Ottawa and 10 min. Once your river voyage has started, the amount of time you spend in the raft each day depends on the overall length of your trip (say, for the Upper Nizina, you’ll spend 6-7 hours a day on the raft for a 3-day trip , and 4-5 hours for a 4-day trip). Tours range from 3-7 days, and the amount of time on the river each day depends on the length of your trip. Most multi-day trips start with a meeting, the night before departure, in McCarthy (Copper River trips have their meeting place in Chitina). All of the trips involve an outdoor activity, so you will need to have the appropriate level of fitness to join any particular holiday. Furthermore, our trips venture into wilderness areas and national parks, so you need to expect the unexpected and accept that the weather and other factors sometimes mean a change of plan.
