I would like to submit my May month internship report.
Journey/Personal experience so far - It has been going good since the beginning of the training. The modules are great and easy to understand. Assignments assigned are also unique and helps to create a research mindset which is very necessary for an upcoming cybersecurity personnel.
Knowledge gained - The primary and the most important step in cybersecurity is Reconnaissance or information gathering. It has a huge variety of tools and processes in which we can gather information about a target like - Google Dorking, OSINT etc. Tools like Kali Linux and Burp Suite were also explained.
Vulnerabilities learnt - Default Credentials for admin, WordPress and API Vulnerabilities, Information Disclosure
Tools learnt and used - Kali Linux, Burp Suite, various OSINT tools
Rooms or challenges done - passive reconnaissance, active reconnaissance, Google Dorking, Burpsuite
Vulnerabilities/Bug Bounty found and reported - N/A
Overall Experience - The overall experience is great. Getting to learn new topics and tools to explore
