Leyla Aliyeva, born July 3, 1985 in Moscow was the mother of two. She holds an MA Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and studied in London and Moscow. Leyla Alyeva received the "Taraggi Award" in July 2011 to acknowledge her contributions towards the growth of the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York, in November 2011, she was awarded the "Key To Life Award" for her efforts to help the poor involving children.
Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.
On the 20th of October, 2015, she was presented with the Pushkin Medal of the Russian Federation.
Leyla Aliyeva has twin brothers and a sister.
