Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor, faith healer and writer, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also known as Christ Embassy. It is based in Lagos. He has inspired millions of people around the world with his distinctive telling of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the oldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace to her son at an early stage.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several top-selling gospel singers.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with the world and is also called CSO She is an accomplished gospel artist, award-winning and a an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome went to Edo College and was awarded an award from Bendel State University to study architecture. He also holds awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to join the ministry and be an ambassador for the Lord.
