Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor and faith healer, writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspirational telling of God's Word has enthralled millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was nurtured by a family of faith and was supported by his parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is comprised of all members of the family. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which houses a variety of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word to the world. Also known by CSO, she has been a talented, award winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome studied at Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where He earned an BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. Chris Oyakhilome He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and bring hope to the needy, poor and neglected. COFI has five partners who are all dedicated to raising living standards in some of the poorest areas.

Under the auspices of COFI are the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations strives to improve wellbeing, health and spirits of those who are most vulnerable.

His charitable organization also provides financial support for children in need. Through COFI and The InnerCity Mission, Pastor Chris believes in promoting communities with strong foundations through promoting responsible leadership, good governance, and sustainable development throughout Africa as well as other vulnerable parts of the globe in accordance to the Sustainable Development Goals.
