Bayrock Group's journey: From the Suburbs, to Manhattan Tevfik Arif
Bayrock Group was founded by Tevfik Arif and quickly found itself working in Manhattan with the Trump Organization.

They formed a partnership, where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group’s project with Sapir Organization on Spring Street.

He proposed a deal under which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity as well as the right to utilize the Trump name on the title of this building.

Trump SoHo was a huge success, and Bayrock Group and Trump Organization began to consider expanding their cooperation.
Their goal was to build structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona or Florida, with similar terms as those offered at Trump SoHo. As a compromise to Trump SoHo would receive Trump Organization would receive 18% equity in this structure, in exchange to using the Trump brand. Again, this time.
