Best RC helicopter parts in Virginia
As a guy who mans a website about RC helicopters, I have acquired quite a few parts over the years. I bought this last Christmas for $200 bucks. It went through a few changes as I got more into it. This article contains my thoughts on what I think are the best parts I got for my money.

Here we go

Battery

This is probably the most important part. A cheap battery may last a couple of hours. A good battery should last at least 30 minutes. Batteries will of course vary based on the type of flying you want to do.

I would always recommend going for higher capacity batteries. In my experience, there never seems to be enough flight time and it is easy to run out of power.

If you are just a hobby flier then the battery is not so important. For someone who has a RC helicopterosarcoma, the battery will be very important.

If you are flying indoors then the battery is not so important. For outdoors flying, the battery is a critical part.

I always recommend going for at least a 1500mah battery. It means you will get 30 minutes of flight time.

Charger

A good charger can charge your battery quickly. A charger that comes with extra charging wires is great as this means you can charge your battery at different locations.

If you have a RC helicopterosarcoma, then you will probably need to carry more than one battery and charger. Extra charging wires help avoid a situation where one charging wire gets damaged.

Transmitter

Transmitters, also commonly referred to as the radio, let you control the helicopter using radio control signals.

Transmitters have different capabilities. They are clearly a lot easier to use for beginners. A transmitter is used to control only one helicopter at a time.

Transmitters will vary based on the type of helicopter. The transmitter is often referred to as being the “brain” of the helicopter. The transmitter is used to control various aspects of the helicopter such as the speed, direction, height and speed of rotor blades.

Receiver

The receiver is the brain of the helicopter. The receiver takes the signals from the transmitter and translates them into commands that the pilot can use to pilot the helicopter.

Receivers will vary based on the type of helicopter. A receiver is used to control more than one helicopter at a time.

Receivers will typically be part of the helicopter. There is an input cable that allows the pilot to control various aspects of the helicopter. The receiver is the brains of the helicopter.

Transmitter and Receiver

The transmitter and receiver are the brains of the helicopter. The transmitter is used to control one aspect of the helicopter and the Receiver is used to control other aspects such as the speed, direction, height and speed of rotor blades.

The transmitter and receiver are the two main components. The transmitter is used to control one aspect and the Receiver is used to control other aspects.

There are other types of transmitters and receivers. For example, there are transmitters that have receivers built into them, i.e. a transmitter and receiver are one and the same. There are also transmitters that come with receivers. The receiver is built into the transmitter.

Transmitters and Receivers are the brains of your helicopter. They are responsible for translating the signals from the transmitter into commands that the pilot can use to pilot the helicopter.
